How to Make Kinky Hair Curly Without Spending A Lot of Money

Kinky hair is often extremely dry and normally hard to hold curls. You will learn how to get that curl you want without using a lot of money.

Instructions

    1

Kinky hair needs moisture daily so you should wet the hair and use an anti-frizz conditioner or a leave-in conditioner daily this is needed to target the frizz and define your curl pattern. Make sure the conditioner does not contain alcohol or sulfate. As the conditioner is in the hair use a pick or a good devise to detangle the hair and rinse the product out. Do not brush again it is best to do this in the shower to not mess up your curl pattern.

    2
    Dax Grease

While your hair is wet apply some dax grease ( which is about 0.99 to $4.00 depending on the size) to hold the curl and to moisturize the hair. Saturate all over hair but don't put to much. Start at the back and work your way up to the front.

    3
Smooth 'N' Shine curl activator gel

Then apply the smooth 'n' shine curl activator gel ( runs about $4.00 in a big jar ) . Work thoroughly through the hair. You will need a clip to section the hair off as you are applying the product. When using the product you will need to run through the different pieces or sections of your hair with your fingers. To help with the curl pattern twist the hair around your finger as applying product.

    4
    Fantasia IC

An alternate to the smooth 'n' shine curl activator gel is fantasia IC. This product runs about $4.00 as well. You can choose which one you prefer best. Some people say it makes their hair hard and the smooth 'n' shine curl activator gel keeps the hair soft.

    5

You can air dry, sit under the dryer or use a diffuser. Just do not touch your curls while they are wet it will cause it to be frizzy.

    6

You should have nice moisturized curls and when you feel like the product is building up on your hair use a clarifying shampoo to clean the hair well. Once a month is good.
