How to Use Spiral Hair Curlers

Sometimes a girl just wants a head full of curls and there are many tools out there to help women with even the straightest hair to create cute spirals or fabulous waves. Spiral curlers are among the best tools to use at home to create curls. There are various types, from heated, to Velcro to magnetic, but they all work in basically the same way.

Instructions

Divide your hair into sections, depending on how tight you want your curls. The more sections you do, the more ringlets you'll have.

Place the curler at the bottom of one of the sections and gently roll up the hair around the curler until snug against your scalp. Don't roll too tight or you could cause damage to your hair. The curlers should not be painful.

Continue rolling up your hair with the remaining sections until all your hair is in curlers.

Wait the required time that your curlers indicate, depending on the type. It can be up to three hours.

Remove the curlers one at a time, gently unrolling them in the same direction you rolled them up in.

Finger style your curls in the mirror and give them a spritz of hairspray to keep in place.
