How to Style Asian Girls' Hair

The hair of a young Asian girl can be difficult to style since it's very fine and silky; other than simply brushing it and wearing it down, you may feel like there's not much else to do with it. However, if you try a few things, you may find that some other styles work pretty well.

Put her hair back in a clip. A straight clip will most likely just slide out, so use one that has teeth to help grip the hair and keep it back. You can clip back just one of the sides, both of the sides, or the middle.

Use a headband to hold the hair back and get it out of her face. A wide headband will work well to balance out a round face or high cheekbones.

Apply a bit of product through the girl's hair and put it in a ponytail. You can use a light hair putty or pomade--it doesn't really matter as long as it doesn't goop up the hair. You only want to give the hair a bit of texture so the ponytail holder will make the hair stay in place. You can put all the hair up or just "half-up."

Rub some product into the roots of the hair. Do this by simply massaging the scalp while you have the product on your hands. This can give Asian hair a boost, and it will give it more volume if the girl likes to wear her hair down.
