If you desire a low maintenance, simple hairstyle, consider your hair type when you pick a style: curly or straight, fine or thick. For example, if your hair is fine and straight, choose a shorter hairstyle such as a long bob. If your hair is thick and curly, longer hair that has a less structured style will work best.

A pixie haircut is easy to maintain and style. There are multiple variations of this style. The sides and back should be kept short. The top can be left longer and messy or cropped short and spiky. Shoulder-length hair with bangs is easy to wear and maintain. This style also works with just about every hair type. Have your hair cut to shoulder level. Have short, wispy layers cut around the side to frame of your face. Light layers should be added throughout the bottom and back of your hair. Add straight bangs that hang down over your forehead.
