How to Make Natural Curly Hair Look Good

Nothing will make you want to put on a hat faster than having your curly hair frizz out. Using the right products and maintaining your hair with at least a trim approximately every eight weeks will help reduce the unruly frizz. Used by the Berber people of Morocco for centuries as a staple in their diet and cosmetics, argan oil is now commercially available in hair care products and works well on all curly hair types.

Instructions

    1

Wash your hair using a smoothing shampoo and conditioner. Starting the process at the shampooing stage sets the foundation for the other products to perform their jobs better. Focus the shampoo at the scalp and roots of your hair. Concentrate the conditioner at the ends from the nape of the neck down.

    2

Towel dry your hair lightly. Avoid rubbing back and forth. Squeeze the excess water out with the towel until it is damp.

    3

Pour a few drops of Moroccan argan oil into your palm. Rub the oil with your palms; then begin running your hands through your hair. Work the oil from the ends up.

    4

Add a little more oil if you your hair is long or thick. Moroccan argan oil will help rid your hair of excess water and dry faster. The oil conditions the hair shaft without leaving a greasy, sticky or crunchy feeling.

    5

Blow=dry your hair with a diffuser, scrunching as you go. The result will be naturally soft, curly hair that has bounce because it is not weighed down with product.

    6

Finish your curls with a tiny amount of shine serum. Rub between your palms, and apply lightly over your the surface of your hair.
