How to Make Homemade Corn Syrup Hair Spray

Homemade corn syrup hair spray is a simple, natural alternative to the commercial products on store shelves, which often cost quite a bit of money and contain additives and chemicals that may be hazardous to both your hair and your health. Homemade corn syrup hair spray will keep for about 30 days from the day it is made.

Instructions

Pour the distilled water into a small saucepan and bring to the boil.

Stir in the light corn syrup with a glass stirrer and remove from heat. Allow the saucepan to cool for about five minutes, stirring regularly.

Add the lemon essential oil and stir to combine. Let the mixture cool completely and transfer to a sterilized glass bottle with a fine-spray mister.
