How to Use Hot Rollers With Pins

Going to a salon to style your hair can become an expensive habit. Using hot rollers gives you the chance to obtain a similar style at a fraction of the cost. By curling your hair with hot rollers, you can achieve either a casual look or a hairstyle perfect for a more formal event. Styling your hair with hot rollers and pins isn't difficult. With practice, you will be able to use hot rollers with pins to achieve your desired hairstyle.

Instructions

Turn on the hot rollers to allow them heat up.

Use the tail comb to separate a 1-inch section in the front center of your hair.

Comb through that section of the hair so that it is straight and smooth.

Take a roller from the heated station and hold it at the tips of your hair.

Pull the hair taut and roll the roller from the tips to your scalp.

Insert the pin in into the roller to secure it to your scalp.

Continue this technique around your head until you have secured all of your hair in rollers.

Mist the hair spray over the rolled hair.

Leave the rollers in your hair for 15 minutes. This will secure your hairstyle.

Pull the pins out of each roller and remove each curl.

Comb your fingers through your hair for a loose-curled style, or add another mist of hair spray for tighter curls.
