How to Style an Asian Mullet

The Asian mullet hairstyle has gained popularity among young Asian males. The Asian mullet is made popular by anime characters. The mullet is typically worn as a short to medium length and utilizes styling products to achieve the desired look.

Instructions

Purchase a hairstyling wax or similar product. A popular brand for the mullet style is the Asian brand Gatsby. Use the strongest hold possible available for the product.

Wash and dry hair as usual.

Straighten hair with a flat iron, if necessary.

Place a small amount of the product into a palm and rub your hands together. A little goes a long way with hairstyling wax products.

Take your hands and run the wax product through the hair, starting at the scalp and working out. Fluff the hair to make the style gain body.

Grab small sections of hair between your fingers and roll hair into spikes all over head.

Spray with hairspray once the style is achieved.
