How to Make Pony Tails in Girls Hair

Ponytail styles for girls differ widely in complexity and appearance. Experiment with new ponytail styles by adding details and accessories. Also, determine the appropriate ponytail style according to the texture of the hair.

Instructions

Use the paddle brush to brush the hair backwards. Start at the hair line and brush the hair toward the back of the head to the center. Hold the hair as you continue to brush the hair in place.

Decide where the ponytail will sit. Hold the hair in that area and brush the hair into your hand. Make sure all hair is neatly brushed in the same direction.

With the hair still in your hand, place the ponytail holder around the hair. Wrap it around the ponytail until the hair is secure. Brush the hair in the ponytail to remove tangles and add shine.

Take the paddle brush and brush the hair backwards. Start at the hair line and bring the hair toward the back of the head to the center.

Separate the hair into four even sections using the comb. Separate the hair on the top of the head to make a miniature ponytail. Wrap a rubber band around the hair. Create three more sections on the sides and the bottom. Secure each ponytail tightly.

Take the four miniature ponytails and hold them together. Secure all of them into one ponytail holder. Brush the hair with the paddle brush to remove tangles and add shine.

Use a spray bottle and wet the hair until it is damp. Pull the hair outwards to stretch the curls. Saturate the hair with moisturizer; concentrate on the ends. The moisturizer prevents the hair from drying and tightening.

Brush the hair with the paddle brush; brush slowly to prevent snapping off the ends of the hair. Remove large tangles and snags with your fingers.

Starting from the hair line, brush the hair backwards toward the center of the head. Decide where the ponytail will be placed and brush the hair into your hand.

Spray the hair again to stretch the curls out. Hold the hair tightly and wrap a ponytail holder around it. If the ponytail base is thick, pull the hair through the ponytail holder. Allow the hair to dry.
