How to Spike Hair With Hair Wax

Have you ever wondered how people spike their hair without the wet, greasy look most gels give? It's actually simple. Using hair wax, almost anyone can style his hair the way he wants it. Instructions

Start with clean, slightly damp hair. Rub a small amount of hair wax into your palms, starting with a quarter-size helping. Depending on how long your hair is, you might use slightly more or less. If you use too much, it will weigh down your hair, making it difficult to spike properly.

Run your hands through your hair, evenly distributing the wax.

Style your hair as desired, using your hands to pull strands of hair up. Depending on your personal taste, you can spike it in chunks or in smaller strands. When you have the look you want, let your hair dry for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Once your hair is dry, you have successfully spiked your hair with hair wax.
