How to Upload Photos to Find the Perfect Hairstyle

Virtual hairstyle galleries allow you to upload a photo of your face from your computer onto a website. Once your photo is uploaded into the website's system, you can position various hairstyles over your own hair and virtually try on different hairstyles. This techniques allows you to see what a hairstyle would look like on you before you ever set foot in a salon. Virtual hairstyle galleries also work to try on different hair colors.

Instructions

Go to The Hairstyler.com or Cosmopolitan's Virtual Celebrity Hairstyles Web page. Create a new account at The Hairstyler.com or log into your existing account. Cosmopolitan's website does not require an account.

Click the add photo or browse button. This will open a file upload screen that allows you to find your photo on your computer's hard drive.

Find and select your photo from your computer and click on the photo file to highlight it. Click the open button on the file upload screen.

Click the add photo button, if prompted to do so, on the website. Your photo will now be uploaded into the virtual hairstyle gallery and you can begin trying on virtual hairstyles to find your perfect new hairstyle.
