Sporty Hairstyles for Women With Long Faces

Women with long faces like to look their best without having to worry about looking awkward. This includes times when they are playing sports. Often, tight ponytails that sit high on the face make it look too long. There are casual, sporty styles that properly frame the face. You can create sport hairstyles to suit any long face.

You can create a pair of sporty pigtails that look very casual, quite easily. By separating your hair into two even halves and parting the hair down the middle you'll create the two sections you need to start. Tie each section with a hair elastic and pull 1-inch sections to the front from each section of your hair. The hairpieces in the front create a softer frame of your face.

This is a great style that any face shape can use, but long faces especially will benefit as this style rounds out the face and accentuates your features. Part hair to one side, leave the bangs out, and then gather the rest into a ponytail. The bangs should be brushed so that they stay to one side. This style is great for any sport.

This style is similar to the casual ponytail. You should section of bangs from a side part. You will then gather the hair in a low ponytail, secure with an elastic and then braid. Since this style is for a sport the braid can be loose and unstructured.
