Start with well-conditioned hair that has been blown dry and apply a no-frizz serum to the roots. Run the serum through to the ends. If your hair is too frizzy, it could snap during styling.
2Massage your hair with a heat protection gel or cream. Preventing heat damage will protect the smoothness and condition of your hair. The gel or cream will also act as a shine enhancer.
3Take 2-inch wide sections of your hair and hold the waver on it for 2 seconds every few inches. Start at the crown and work your way to the ends. Remember, only 2 seconds for every few inches until you reach the ends.
4Repeat this process for your entire head. Then rub a dime-sized amount of shine serum between your hands. The heat will help activate the product. Work the product through your hair.Try not to touch your hair too much while it's hot. The curls could fall and become flat before you leave your house.
5Run your fingers through the waves a few times to relax them. If the waves are a bit too tight, use your fingers to comb through them again. Spray with hairspray to hold the waves. Accessories are also a good idea for a twist on this look.
