How to Put Your Hair Into Mesh Curlers

Rolling hair in mesh curlers will effectively create smooth and lovely hairstyles that will last all day. Because of the mesh construction of these rollers, hair dries exceedingly fast after you roll it onto mesh curlers. Start with freshly washed and conditioned hair, add a light styling gel and put your hair into mesh curlers. After allowing your hair to dry completely on the rollers, it will look smooth, bouncy and full of curly body.

Instructions

    1

Wash your hair with the shampoo and use the conditioner in the normal fashion. Apply a leave-in conditioner and comb it through your hair.

    2

Apply a small amount of styling gel and work it though your hair with your fingers. Divide your hair into sections. Part your hair down the middle from your forehead to the back of your neck. Clip one-half of your hair back. Comb through the remaining half and clip back all but the bottom 2-inch-wide section along the back of your neck. Divide this section in half vertically and clip one-half back.

    3

Roll up the loose section of hair around a mesh roller, rolling the hair up and around the roller until it reaches your scalp. Insert a hairpin into the roller, angling it towards the scalp and directing it through the curler and out the opposite side of the curler. Use two pins to make the curler secure, if necessary.

    4

Repeat Step 3 with the other vertical half of this section. Release the hair from the clip on the same half of your head and separate another 2-inch-wide section. Leave this section down and clip the remaining hair back. Divide this section in half vertically and clip one-half aside.

    5

Repeat Steps 3 and 4 to wrap all of the hair on this half of your head around the mesh curlers. Release the other half of your hair and roll this remaining half in the same fashion as the first half.

    6

Allow your hair to air dry, direct a blow dryer onto it or sit under a hooded dryer to dry the hair rolled on the curlers. Do not remove your hair from the mesh rollers until dries completely.

    7

Remove the curlers and style your hair as you desire.
