How to Make Frizz Into Curls

If you have frizzy hair, it is most likely because you have either damaged your beautiful locks or more likely, you have unruly curls. Curly hair is absolutely gorgeous when tamed; however, left to it's own wild ways can become a frizzy fro in seconds flat. A few tips can help you make frizz into curls.

Begin with daily beauty basics. Brush your hair with a natural bristled brush only when your hair is dry; use a wide-toothed comb very gently when your hair is wet. Brush your hair before you get in the shower to help reduce tangles when styling and always wash your hair in cold water.

Wash your hair no more than every other day, lathering only at the scalp and allowing the suds to work through your hair as you rinse. Keep two or three quality conditioners in your shower at all times, swapping daily to prevent, wring excess water out of your hair and then massage throughout from root to tip and allow to set in your hair for at least two minutes before rinsing with cool water. To make frizz fabulous curls, you should condition your hair even on days you don't shampoo.

Wrap your head in a towel to remove the majority of water and then work a leave-in conditioner into your hair as well. Very gently pick through your locks to get the bigger tangles and then allow your hair to air dry.

Comb through your hair gently once again when it is almost dry, removing any remaining tangles. Apply a frizzy hair product of your choice, which often works as a gel, moisturizer, mouse or cream. The product you choose will depend on your personal style, so experiment and find what works for you. When the product is thoroughly worked in, use your damp towel to scrunch your curls up towards your scalp.
