How to Make Curly Hair Falls

Hair falls are a style that can be worn by girls and women and are usually worn in a ponytail or down. Falls with straight hair project a polished and sophisticated look, while curly falls are more whimsical. They can be worn with a person's natural curly hair, with natural straightened hair and hot curls, with natural-looking curly extensions, or with straightened and hot curled extensions. Falls are easy to maintain and can last for up to a week with the proper care.

Instructions

Take washed and conditioned but still moist naturally curly hair and saturate with a mouse that holds curls while being flexible. Make sure that mouse covers hair from root to tip.

Use parting comb to divide hair into four sections, leaving one down to work with and pinning the rest up with banana clips. Gently comb through moist mouse-saturated hair with comb from tip to scalp, section by section to ensure that the hair is tangle free.

Remove all banana clips and let hair fall naturally. Use parting comb to part hair as desired (center part, side part, etc.). Turn blow-dryer settings to low heat and low force. Keep the blow-dryer 6 to 12 inches from the hair and blow until natural curls begin to form ringlets. Stop when hair is almost dry.

Run fingers through hair, gently shaking out the curls. Use a pea-sized amount of gel to define specific curls, and let hair naturally dry.

*Optional*: For a natural curly fall up-do, after removing banana clips from hair as instructed in Step 3, gather hair into a ponytail at the desired location, and use gel all around the hair against the scalp to smooth it down. Brush hair, then use coated rubber bands to secure in a ponytail. Continue with instructions from Step 3 to completion.

Take washed and conditioned hair and part into four sections, leaving one down to work with and pinning the rest up with banana clips. Use blow dryer to dry each section thoroughly, and then repeat the parting and clipping process.

Use flat iron to straighten blow-dried hair, until all hair is bone straight. Sweep hair into a ponytail at the desired location, then use brush and gel to flatten hair against the scalp. Fasten the ponytail with coated rubber bands, then isolate a small section of the ponytail hair, using a banana clip to keep the rest of the hair out of the way.

Use hairspray on the isolated section of hair, then use curling iron to curl hair counter-clockwise holding for 15 to 20 sections. Remove the curler and add another spritz of hairspray to lock curls. Repeat this process until all of the hair in the pony tail is curled.

Gently use fingers to shake out and separate curls. Use additional hairspray and gel to define curls as desired.

Go to a wig shop that carries human hair and ask for one 12- to 14-inch weave bundle on a track of curly textured hair. Select a grade and color of human hair that closely matches the hair texture of the person getting the fall.

Gather washed and conditioned damp natural hair into a ponytail, then use a brush and gel to flatten hair against the scalp. Secure hair into a ponytail with a coated rubber band, then work the remaining hair into one large braid. Wrap the braid around itself into as small a bun as possible, then secure it with bobby pins.

Unroll the naturally curly weave hair from the track, then take a bobby pin and fasten it to the track. The bobby pin should go through the weave hair and track and come out on the other end, facing in the opposite direction of the hair. Anchor the bobby pin and weave into the bun and secure with additional bobby pins.

Wrap the weave around the bun over and over again, anchoring with bobby pins along the way, until the bun is no longer visible. Cut the weave track and anchor the end into the bun with another bobby pin. Make sure that the bun and extension piece are secure by giving it a gentle tug.

Gently use fingers to shake out and separate curls. Use additional hairspray and gel to define curls as desired.
