How to Spiral Curl Hair With Hot Rollers

Straight hair can be transformed into bouncy curls when you create spiral curls. The look can be created with a number of styling tools, including hot rollers. When hot rollers are used in a particular way, spiral curls are easy to style and maintain throughout the day. It's important to condition hair in between using heated styling tools, because they can damage and dry out hair.

Instructions

Turn on your hot rollers, and wait for them to heat up.

Separate your hair into a top section and a bottom section.

Put the top section of your hair into a hair clip.

Take a 1-inch section of hair into one hand.

Use your other hand to place a hot roller at the bottom of the hair section under the hair.

Wrap the ends of your hair around the hot curler, and roll the hot roller up toward the scalp.

Secure the roller with a clip.

Continue this method until the entire bottom section of your hair is in rollers.

Take down the top section of your hair, and put the hair up in hot rollers.

Keep the rollers in for about 20 minutes.

Take out one hot roller at a time.

Wrap the curl around your index finger, and then pull it down to create a spiral curl. Once the spiral curl looks the way you want it, spray it with hair spray.

Continue this process with all of your curls, and then spray your hair again with hair spray.
