You know your mohawk is cool--as long as it stops flopping over sideways. You can put up a mohawk--and get it to stay up--with a little patience, a few steps and a lot of gooey hair products.

Towel dry your hair. Squeeze out all excess moisture by gently pressing the towel throughout your head. Dont mash and mush your hair, but simply squeeze out moisture.
2Smooth it. Brush or comb out any tangles, snarls, mats or other funny stuff. Use a wide-tooth comb or plastic-tipped brush on damp hair.
3Flip over. Turn your head upside down and pull your Mohawk into the position you desire, which would be straight up in the air, or pointing towards the floor.
4Apply glue product. Pick your glue product from a range of hair adhesives varying from super strong, rubber-like or tough gel. Rub a generous amount of the glue product between your palms. Starting at your roots, rub your hands through your hair, angling all hair towards the center and upwards. Make sure every strand is as coated with the product as it can be. Pull the hair into spikes, like a dragons scales, if desired.
5Allow to dry. Some products can take up to 10 minutes to fully harden. Be patient. Beauty takes some time. You can flip your head back over while youre waiting, but make sure the spikes stay standing. You can give them an extra lift by twisting the ends. Many of the products will work best by allowing it to air dry, rather than blow drying it. Read the label to double check.
6Finish off with spray. Once the mohawk is dried in place, finish if off with a glue-like spray or regular hair spray. This gives it one more reason to stay standing throughout the evening.
